Swing of Hearts

beat after beat,
uncertainty infests.
as i hold your hand,
anxiety never rests.

eye to eye,
in the noise of silence,
seconds of solitude,
in your majestic presence.

moments of wonder-
rapid and swift.
restless soul-
melodic adrift.

musical chaos,
reverse vertigo.
ravage smile,
eliminate sorrow.

nervous mind;
unexpected breakdown.
silent kiss;
present me thy crown.

i'll dance with you,
not with your remedy.
but in this heart,
i have rhythms and harmony.

It is easy to dance to the beat of the music.
What is hard is to dance with the rhythm of the heart.
